Levram K3 EDTA vacuum blood collection tubes are made for haematology testing, where whole blood is needed with clotting prevented. The tripotassium EDTA additive binds calcium in the blood sample, so the cells stay in a usable state for analysis. The pre-evacuated PET tubes have a lavender cap and are UV sterilised.
